Vitality is health and life insurance that rewards you for being healthy. It’s the nudge to get you off the sofa, it’s the motivating friend with helpful tips to improve your life, and it’s a proven way to get healthier and be rewarded.

Vitality wants you to life well and help them do it. The reason behind this is simple – if clients lead a healthy lifestyle they could add years to their life and significantly reduce their chance of illness. This means they’re less likely to claim.

How does it work?

Vitality Points and Status

Vitality has worked with scientists and academics to ensure the discounts and rewards they offer encourage clients to live a healthy lifestyle. They give your clients discounts with their health partners such as half price health screens, as well as useful tools to help them understand and monitor their health, and set goals to improve it.

To help clients track their progress, they are awarded Vitality points for doing healthy things. This counts towards their Vitality status. Everyone starts on Bronze and can move up to Silver, Gold and finally Platinum. The higher their status, the more they could get back. Find out more Here about how Vitality Points are awarded.

What do I get and where?

Access to Vitality’s Health Partners comes free with all VitalityLife policies at no extra charge. These include: 50% off fitness tracking devices from Garmin, Polar and Fitbug, Free Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop smoking course and 50% off a pair of running shoes from Sweatshop per plan year.

Other discounts and rewards can be accessed if a client pays an additional monthly fee and adds Vitality Plus or Vitality Optimiser to their policy. These include Vitality’s Active Rewards, Status Rewards and extended Health Partners.

Vitality Optimiser can be added to any VitalityLife policy for an additional £3.30 per month (this amount is subject to change). Clients with Vitality Optimiser on their policy can get a discount on their premiums of up to 40% for the life of the policy. And if they engage in their health, they can control their future premiums.
